HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We bought this watch new in February 2020.
CONDITION
Eterna have made the Eternity model for men only mechanical now, so we bought one of the last quartz models available. Given the automatic version is $1,950 according to Eterna’s website, this is great value for money. There is a review from ABlogtoWatch from 2016 on these models, showing the launch price for this quartz watch was $750 and they are praising the quality and value for money at that. Now the quartz is discontinued they look even better value.
The word Quartz does not appear on the watch, and as this has no seconds hand there is no external way to show this is the cheaper quartz watch except for that the watch is slimmer, as it doesn’t have to accommodate the thicker automatic movement. The textured dial is very nice, and this watch has only been worn for photography.
This watch will be supplied with the original outer cardboard box, inner presentation box, unfilled papers, hangtag and our Certificate of Authenticity.
