HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We bought this watch new in July 2020.
CONDITION
The fashion for bronze watches has not passed us by, but sadly most new watches are too large for us to consider. However the 38 mm case size for this is perfect for those of us used to wearing vintage watches a lot smaller and lighter than today’s standard offerings. Bronze is an interesting material, as it will develop patina over time making each one different. This watch has been worn a handful of times, and never polished. You might find that as your wrist polished the back edge of the case you may get a mark on your wrist – that is a feature of bronze watches, and as the case back is steel most of that issue has been avoided. The case will likely get darker the longer we have it. Condition is perfect, and we have every piece of packaging for the watch too. The RRP for this Christopher Ward was £795, and the replacement C65 model starts at £995
