HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We bought this watch directly from Spinnaker in December 2019.
CONDITION
The watch has only been worn a few times, and as such is in fantastic condition. This is more of a review. There is an independent review here if you prefer.
How many textured green dials do you see? Very few, and it was this that attracted us to this Spinnaker Cahill. Set in a gold plated case and with a unidirectional lumed bezel it didn’t look like anything else. The lume plots are big and clear, the bezel nicely machined and even details like the buckle and screw down signed crown look like they are from a watch at multiples of this price. The Miyota movement is nothing special, and while it will work perfectly well I personally wouldn’t have an exhibition case back on a movement that is not decorated – but that is a compromise by having a very attractive $410 price to start. As well as the nice water resistant leather strap a branded NATO strap is included in the box, along with an unused cleaning cloth.
This watch will be supplied with the original presentation box, , hangtag, papers, cleaning cloth, NATO strap and our Certificate of Authenticity.
