Tudor was a brand founded by Rolex in 1926, and often used Rolex cases and crowns in their designs. More recently they pushed the design boat away from their parent company, and looked at their own back catalogue for inspiration, hence the Tudor Heritage line. In this case that was the 1973/1974 reference 7169. The watch is model number 70330B, was launched in 2013 with a list price of $4,425

CONDITION
There is a honest and unbiased contemporary review of this Tudor Heritage watch on Hodinkee here that is worth reading. As the new design doesn’t have the date bubble magnifier, a feature that divides watch collectors, it does have a wider appeal.
On this example everything is working as to be expected. The NATO strap is a replacement item and we have also shown the watch on a leather strap – it is a surprisingly versatile design. There are some very small marks around the lugs from strap changes and from where a bracelet has rubbed, and the lightest scratch to the bi directional bezel, but nothing else to note. The 55 jewel ETA based caliber 2892 works smoothly and correctly. The crown does not have the blue enamel paint. The paperwork is complete, and this watch also has both outer cardboard boxes as well as the piano gloss black box.
This watch will be supplied with the original presentation box, papers and our Certificate of Authenticity.
