Made in Russia by a German company, these post cold war Poljot International watches are a curious mix.  Model reference 2416.7446476

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the original receipt for £174.83 we can accurately date this watch to being sold in February 2008.

CONDITION

Poljot International historically used Russian movements, but marketed to the West.  Their current range starts at €395, and can be seen here.  This watch does not appear to have been worn – the strap is unmarked and the plastic is on the case back still (the original crystal protector for the dial was fitted too, but we removed that for photographs. The strap and buckle is original, with the buckle showing the Basilika logo.  Inside the gold plated case is an automatic movement, which is not decorated other than having Poljot stamped on the oscillating weight.  The date is semi quick set.  The dial is nice, with a brickwork pattern to the centre.

This watch will be supplied with the original wooden presentation box, papers and our Certificate of Authenticity.

Please see the HD video for more detail.  All photos and videos are part of the description and are of the actual watch unless mentioned.  We do not photoshop any pictures, and the images are copyright of birthyearwatches.com and should not be used without permission.
