HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can date this watch to being made in 2005. Unfortunately the paperwork isn’t completed so we can not be sure when it was sold.
CONDITION
The watch has been worn, but worn carefully. The sapphire crystal is damage and scratch free. The bezel has a very small ding near 48, and the bezel insert the tiniest of marks at 54. The bracelet is a good size and has 1 1/2 spare links to get a great fit. We have cleaned the bracelet in our ultrasonic bath. The cards are not completed but match the serial number of the watch, and we have the inner and out boxes (see video). We also have the COSC certificate and the hefty instruction book. The inner anti magnetic movement cover is fitted, but not shown in the photos. The dial and hands are perfect – often these SMP’s have the red tip of the second hand fade to pink, but not this one.
This model was made iconic by James Bond, when Pierce Brosnan strapped one one in Goldeneye in 1997. More about Bond watches in this GQ article here. That model was the quartz version though.

Approximately 45.6 mm wide including the signed crown, 11.9 mm thick. Takes a 20 mm strap. The bracelet will fit a maximum wrist size of approximately 185 mm, plus the spare links will add about 15mm.
