HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the supplied paperwork, which matches the serial number on the case back, we can accurately date this watch to being sold in 2004.
CONDITION
Being an exclusive chain of high end jewellers in Switzerland, Carl F. Bucherer has the client base that know what they want and in 2004 they launched a range of watches that they can be proud of (although they have been making watches since 1919). This watch here is more conservative than some, but still full of detail and quality. Sometimes the small details, such as the arrow shaped lume on the hands, and the detailing in the buckle, raise the watch from nice to very nice and that is what you have here. The movement is an ETA base, with quickset date, so future servicing will always be reasonable. The crown is signed, and the glass is sapphire. The case is a very comfortable size and design, and is all in good shape with only surface scratches to show it has been worn. The watch arrived with the original strap, but it was in poor condition so we have changed it for a new one. The dark grey / almost black dial is very nice, and this is a watch that watch collectors will appreciate for its quality and exclusivity.
