An unusual men’s Cartier Tank watch, with a funky stainless steel case.  Model reference 2600.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the original certifcate, which has the same serial number as on the watch case back, we can accurately date this watch to being sold in July 2003.

CONDITION

Most Cartier Tank watches are conservative and can be quite small, so this model is for people who like to make a little more of a statement.  It is unusual to have a widescreen case like this, and the watch is interesting to wear.  The usual Cartier details are present – the faceted sapphire in the hexagonal crown, the hidden signature on the dial roman numerals, solid steel construction etc.  The strap is new and not a Cartier item, but the original signed buckle has been retained.  The sapphire crystal is unmarked.  At just 6.7 mm thick it sits comfortably under a cuff.  Inside is a Cartier quartz calibre 157 movement, and we will fit a new battery before sending this watch to you.

This watch will be supplied with the original outer cardboard box (with damage, as shown in the video) and sleeve, inner presentation box, papers and our Certificate of Authenticity.

Please see the HD video for more detail.  All photos and videos are part of the description and are of the actual watch unless mentioned.  We do not photoshop any pictures, and the images are copyright of birthyearwatches.com and should not be used without permission.
