HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the supplied warranty card, which matches the serial number on the case back, we can accurately date this watch to being sold in December 2002.
CONDITION
The Link model came in to the TAG Heuer line up in 1999, replacing the S/EL models. They were available in four sizes – 25mm, 28mm, 36mm and 42mm and we have the 36mm version here. Model WT1211 is all matte stainless steel and ran from launch in 1999 until the whole range was updated in 2004. It is hard to fault the condition of this watch, with just very minimal marks to show in its two decades. There will be lots of cheaper Link models out there, but few if any that are better. The bezel doesn’t have paint in the numbers, which is not wear – they left the factory like this. We will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner. The bracelet is quite long and our sister website, SpareLinks.com, may have extra links if required. The bracelet has not been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath – it simply didn’t need to!
This watch will be supplied with the original presentation boxes, papers and our Certificate of Authenticity.
This watch has been checked against the Watch Register and has not been reported as lost, stolen or implicated in fraud, and a copy of that certificate will also be included.
