This Bulova Marine Star, dating from 2001, has a great indigo blue dial.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the Bulova serial number on the caseback we can accurately date this watch to 2001.
CONDITION
This watch is totally original. The integrated bracelet is a good length, and features a divers extension clasp to go over your wetsuit. The bezel is unidirectional, so you know when your air is running low, and has raised points to help turn the bezel with wet hands / gloves. This watch was originally rated for depths of 100m. As with all vintage watches, I wouldn’t guarantee their waterproofness any more, but it is nice to know that this watch was built to withstand 10BAR pressure. The crystal has a slight scuff between 12 and 2, and the paint is missing from some of the bezel markers, but otherwise it is all in great order. The bracelet will be cleaned in our ultrasonic bath before being sent out.
SIZE
Approximately 39.0 mm wide including the unsigned crown, 9.7 mm thick. The bracelet will fit a maximum wrist size of approximately 194 mm without the wetsuit extension being used.
