HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being sold in 2000. We also have the image of the original receipt, pictured, but not the receipt itself
CONDITION
The Galaxis has six blue sapphire glass seconds going around the bezel, and this is the main design point. All of the sections are chip and scratch free, and they do reflect light in very pleasing ways. This model is slim for an automatic, and that is partly due to the ETA 2824-2 movement allowing that slim case. That 25 jewel movement also has quick set date operated by via the signed crown. Neither case nor bracelet has been polished, so will show surface marks but neither are damaged. The bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath. The dial and hands are excellent. The quartz version of the Galaxis outsold the automatic at the time, so now the autos are harder to find.
