HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in September 1999.
CONDITION
Titanium is a very hard and light metal. That sounds ideal, but it has drawbacks. One is that it is very difficult to work, and tends to blunt tooling far quicker than stainless steel would. Another is that not everyone enjoys such a light watch, coming in at just 69 grams on a bracelet is exceptional. The dial is good, and the glass perfect. The case does have marks, most noticeable at twelve but those are not horrific. While the watch was originally waterproof to 100M we would always say ignore this and do not consider any vintage watch to have any water resistance. The original crown is cross hatched for ease of use, but as the quartz movement will hardly ever need any adjustment this is more cosmetic than necessary. The bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath. We will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner.
