HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
While we have the instruction book, service receipt and we do not have the warranty card for this watch showing the date it was sold. However from the serial number on the lug we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1999.
CONDITION
Much rarer than the ‘Bond’ SMP in Steel, the titanium version is very similar but then you start to see differences. The size is the same, but the titanium watch is lighter. The bezel on this version doesn’t have an aluminium insert, and the hands on this SMP are sword hands and not skeleton. Most noticeably the shade of blue for the dial is a shade of blue lighter too – more of an electric blue than navy. The movement is the chronometer rated Omega automatic, calibre 1120, which was serviced by Omega in June 2022. The spares used, including the original hands and crowns, as well as the receipt for the service are included in the sale. The bracelet is quite long and our sister website, SpareLinks.com, may have extra links if required.
