This is the 1999 Girard-Perregaux Seahawk 7700 Chronograph with panda dials. complete with box and papers from Harrods.

From the supplied paperwork, which matches the serial number on the case back, we can accurately date this watch to being sold in 1999.

The outer cardboard box has a water mark, and the inner box leatherette finish is flaking off (as all 1990’s watch boxes seem to do, irritatingly.)  They are still nice to have though.  The paperwork, stamped from Harrods, is all in place and there is also another Harrods receipt for a battery change included.

The watch itself is powered by the Mechaquartz movement that is also used by Cartier.  That means that the chronograph runs and resets like a mechanical watch, but with the power and day to day timekeeping being provided by a battery and with the accuracy of quartz.  The long bracelet is very flexible and comfortable, and the case is polished to a fine shine.  There is a ding in the bezel, which is the only real negative.  everything is running perfectly, including the quick set date, and the mid size case means that this could suit anyone.

This watch will be supplied with the original presentation box, papers, hang tag and our Certificate of Authenticity.
