From the supplied warranty card, which matches the serial number on the case back, we can accurately date this watch to being sold in May 1999.
CONDITION
How do you make a wristwatch last 8 Jours (8 days) between winds? The idea is simple – use a longer mainspring – but the execution of this is harder within the limits of a 39mm case. Eberhard have not only managed to do it nicely, but they have finished the movement well and included a power reserve display on the dial. In fact the whole watch is finished nicely, not just the calibre 896-1 in house movement. The stainless case is in good condition, and the sapphire crystal perfect. The dial and hands are like new. The leather strap is the original, partly worn, and could be swapped for a new OEM strap of a different colour if preferred. New versions of this watch are still available, but are not close to this price.
This watch will be supplied with the original outer cardboard presentation box, inner wooden box, papers, hangtag and our Certificate of Authenticity.
