An unusual set of Rotary watch and bracelet, both matching and set with stones, including the original box and receipt.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the supplied receipt from Beaverbrooks we can accurately date this watch to being sold in March 1998.
CONDITION
This set has a lot going on. The watch has an ETA quartz movement, to which we have fitted a new battery, and it is all working perfectly. But the look of the watch is what this is all about. Both bracelet and the watch have stones set in the edge of the bracelets, with mirrored colours. Both bracelets also have clear stones set into the top of the links. We don’t know what the stones are but this wasn’t a cheap watch. The dial of the watch is a pale mother of pearl to add some more shimmer. You could wear this watch on it’s own and it would still be a statement piece, but by adding the bracelet to the other wrist it does balance out the design beautifully. You could wear them on the same wrist too, as modeled, but they are going to damage each other if you do that. Both bracelets have screw in links and Rotary signed clasps. The crown also has a clear cabochon polished stone set into it.
