HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the caseback we can accurately date this watch to 1998.
CONDITION
The watch doesn’t seem to have been worn much. The bronzed, uni directional bezel has high points at 12, 3, 6 and 9 which would probably show wear first, and these are all like new. The brushwork on the case is still very evident too. The glass is perfect, and the strap has just the lightest signs of wear. The only negative is the button at 2, which when depressed should light the watch face up. This doesn’t happen every time, so we would consider this a known fault and make you aware that the light function doesn’t work. The dial is mint, and the hands still have great lume.
