With a mother of pearl dial, diamond set bezel and solid 18k gold case and bracelet this ladies Omega Constellation is pure luxury. Model reference BA 895.1201.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the supplied paperwork, which matches the serial number of the watch, we can show that this watch was sold in 2003. And from the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1998. This is quite a time difference, but this would not have been a cheap watch – the current version of the watch comes in at £23,900. Not exactly a spur of the moment purchase!
CONDITION
If the Constellation is the top of the range models, then this ladies Omega Constellation is the top of that range. Solid 18k gold case and bracelet, diamonds set into the bezel, and a mother of pearl dial, this one even has the larger 25.5mm case size (there is a mini version at 22.5mm). We have had ladies Omega Constellation’s before with mother of pearl dials, but this one is particularly nice with a full range of colours – it would make sense that Omega would keep the best examples back for their most expensive watch in the range. We have included a photo in low light to show the difference this unique material makes. The movement is Omega’s 1456 quartz, and we will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner. All is working perfectly of course. The bracelet is not full length but our sister website, SpareLinks.com, may have extra links if required. The watch is signed on the dial, case, movement, crown and clasp.
This watch will be supplied with the original presentation box, papers and our Certificate of Authenticity. The box is very scruffy, as they all are by this age, and it is missing the inner cushion.
This watch has been checked against the Watch Register and has not been reported as lost, stolen or implicated in fraud, and a copy of that certificate will also be included.
