HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the supplied paperwork we can accurately date this watch to being sold in 1997.
CONDITION
Maurice Lacroix were following in the lead of Gucci and using their designs on watches. These are sometimes called fashion watches, but the elements used in this watch are no real different to brands like Zenith in the 1990’s – even the ETA 7 jewel movement used in this watch could be found in Zenith, Gucci and TAG Heuer watches too. The condition of this example is very good, with all the gold plate in good shape and the glass scratch free. We will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner – the video shows the EOL (end of life) indicator working correctly to show the battery needs changing. The leather strap is is the original, with the M logo, which is slightly used but still in good condition.
This watch will be supplied with the original sales papers and our Certificate of Authenticity.
