This 1997 Breitling Chrono Cockpit, model number A30012, has the Breitling B30 automatic chronograph movement inside and reverse panda blue dial.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the supplied paperwork that matches the watch we know that this watch was sold in November 1997.
CONDITION
Part of the Windrider series, this model is smaller than most Breitling watches, and this is a good thing in our opinion. The ETA based 38 jewel movement is working well, and the dial includes a date magnifier between 4 and 5. The bezel turns with a good click, and includes all the screws on the hour markers (often these work loose on some Breitling models). The Chrono cockpit bracelet does have a few small marks, as is to be expected with any used watch that has not been polished, and the minute hand does have some dirt on it if you are looking closely. The original box is tatty but nice to have, and includes the cardboard outer box and original paperwork.
