HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1997. The original guarantee card, which matches the serial number on the watch back, states it was sold in June 1998. Either year can be considered valid for a birth year watch.
CONDITION
The watch has been worn, but any damage is barely visible with the naked eye. The glass did have a scratch, so we have replaced that, and we have also fitted a new battery to the Seiko quartz movement. The bracelet is an expanding gold plated item, and we have an extra five links if needed but it is already a decent length. You could fit a standard leather strap though, and the drilled lugs do make strap and bracelet changes easier. The white dial, with Breguet numerals, is perfect.
This watch will be supplied with the original presentation box and cardboard outer, papers consisting of a guarantee card only and our Certificate of Authenticity.
