A very nice Tag Heuer 4000 full sized watch with grey dial, box papers and even the original receipt. Model reference WF-1111-0
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the supplied paperwork we can accurately date this watch to being sold in May 1996.
CONDITION
The TAG Heuer 4000 was their mid range divers watch, and we mustn’t forget this is a full divers watch with unidirectional bezel, lume, screw down crown and divers fliplock extension to the bracelet. These features helped attain a full 200m water resistance rating when new. What is nice about this example is that it comes complete with both booklets, warranty card, inner and outer boxes and even the receipt for £720.
Condition wise this is a good watch. The sapphire crystal is unmarked, the paint around the split logo at 12 is nearly complete and the long bracelet has extra links too. The bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath, and the first link above the dial does have some grazing to it. The case is unpolished, and the worst mark is a ding to the non crown side. The grey or anthracite dial is very good, with no serious dirt on the lume plots, and the original hands are straight (although the lume in the mercedes hour hand is cracked)
This watch will be supplied with the original inner and outer presentation boxes, warranty card, original receipt, papers and our Certificate of Authenticity.
