This Seiko Quartz may be inexpensive, but in many ways an important watch in horology. Model reference 7N43-9041

From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in July 1994.

The fact that this watch doesn’t stand out is the very point. Seiko launched quartz watches in 1969, and pioneered the technology in almost every way. But rather than keep it for the elite, expensive watches they democratised the technology by providing good watches in stainless steel cases at affordable prices, something they continue to do today too. You also get a day and date window, both quick set, and the day window can be set to English or Spanish. The glass is good, with one or two light scratches. The dial is very good, looking dark grey in some lights but it is black with lumed hands providing a strong contrast. The bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath – this is essential with these folded link bracelets as they do trap dirt. We will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner.

This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
