HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
Both the warranty card and the receipt are dated for 28th March 1994, and the warranty card quotes the same serial number that appears on the case back.
CONDITION
New Old Stock (NOS) watches are hard to find, as it is difficult to imagine why someone in 1994 would spend $453 in the duty free shop and not wear the watch? Today you would need to up that budget to £890 to buy the modern equivalent. The Longines L140 movement is an extra thin 8 jewel quartz movement, allowing a thickness of just 4.1mm when cased – making this one of the thinnest watches we have ever offered. We will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner. The watch is unworn, so has the Longines strap and buckle n perfect condition – in fact it is hard to fault the watch in any way. The box is complete with cleaning cloth. We would not expect to ever get this opportunity ever again!
