HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the supplied guarantee we can accurately date this watch to being sold in June 1993.
CONDITION
The watch arrived needing some light restoration. The mineral glass was scratched, the case dirty and the expanding bracelet fit only for the bin. So we binned the bracelet, stripped the watch, ultrasonically cleaned the case and fitted a new crystal and now the watch is very presentable. The dial was always this clean, and the good quality movement – a seven jewel ETA sourced item – works perfectly as it should. The case does have some corrosion pitting to the back, but this can not be seen when the watch is on the wrist. There is also some wear t the high spots of the gold plated case, as shown in the highly enlarged photos. Fitted to a new black leather strap.
This watch will be supplied with the original presentation box, papers and our Certificate of Authenticity.
