HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the obvious date on the bezel we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1992. These watches were actually made in 1991 and 1992, but the late serial number shows this to be a 1992 watch. Plus we have the original sales receipt and the original box (hinges are broken, as normal for these plastic boxes sadly)
CONDITION
The watch has light scratches all over the case, but the dial is good and so is the acrylic crystal. The date changes on the semi quickset method (going back and forth past midnight) and the chronograph starts, stops and resets exactly as it should. The paint in the middle white portion of the Italian flag looks wrinkled, so maybe it has contracted. We have fitted a new Zeon leather strap with gold tone buckle to suit the watch.
