This solid 9k gold Bueche Girod men’s watch is still fitted with the original strap and buckle, and has a very good condition case.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the London import hallmark on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1992.
CONDITION
The slim gold case is clean and has very few marks. The edges of the case are still crisp, showing it hasn’t been worn too much and never polished. The original branded strap is quite worn, but nice to have – we would recommend that we supplied a new strap and refit the original buckle to the new strap, but send the original to make the watch ‘complete’ and help retain the value. We would also fit a new battery to the Ronda movement, and this movement was said to have only needed a battery change once every six years!
Bueche Girod were founded in 1947 and seem to have specialised in gold watches.
