HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being in 1991. This is backed up with the 1991 catalogue showing this exact model.
CONDITION
If you have never had a full lume dial before you might not understand why they are popular. If you have owned one, you might like another one now! The party trick is the full lume of course, but what the photos never show you is the effect of a cuff covering half the dial, and then only half the dial glowing. The downside to full lume dials is that if they are dirty it really does show, doubly so in the dark. However this is not a problem here, as the dial is clean as are the hands. The bracelet is long and very flexible, as this multi link bracelets are, and has the TAG Heuer clasp and the divers extension still in place. The screw down crown helped allow this watch to have a 200M water resistance rating when new. The bezel is unidirectional with 60 clicks, and the lume pip has at some point been lost and the bezel is also scratched at this point. The bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath. We will install a brand new battery into the ETA 7 jewel movement before sending the watch out to the new owner.
This watch will be supplied with an original TAG Heuer service box, and our Certificate of Authenticity.
