This Seiko SQ Sports, model number 7N42-6A00, has a similar coloured dial to the highly collectable (and expensive) Pogue.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the caseback we can accurately date this watch to being made in January 1991.
CONDITION
We have just fitted a new mineral crystal to this watch, which really brings out the quality of the dial for all to see. While we did this we also cleaned out the dirt from under the bezel, which is a weak spot – when it is too dirty the uni-directional bezel either stops turning or doesn’t click. It is a job that won’t need doing for a long time now. The bracelet is very long, but has faded on the gold coloured centre links. The easiest fix for this is a different strap, but we will keep everything together to keep the originality for now. The bracelet has been in our ultrasonic bath so is clean and ready to go.

42.9mm wide including the crown, 10.0mm thick. Takes an 20mm strap. The bracelet will fit a maximum wrist size of 220mm.
