This automatic Omega Speedmaster, reference DA 375.0043, is in absolutely superb condition and is complete with box, papers and even the hang tag.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1991, which corresponds with the information on Omegas own website. However the sales paperwork shows it was sold in 1994. Either year could be considered correct for a Birth Year Watch.
CONDITION
It is difficult to fault this watch. Being extremely picky there is a slight mark on the non crown side of the case, but in all honesty you are not likely to find a better one. All the paint is in the bezel numbers, and the bezel is 18k gold. All the links on the bi metal bracelet are there, and the clas not only retains the 18k gold insert but also is not scratched at all. The calibre 1155 movement is based on the Valjoux 7750, so servicing and spares will always be available too.
At time of writing, a new Speedmaster 38 with gold bezel on a leather strap is £4,560.
