This Rotary skeleton pocket watch has no dial so you can see how the movement works.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being sold in August 1990.

CONDITION

When considering any skeleton watch the first thing you should consider is ‘was this always a genuine skeleton watch?’  The reason is that unscrupulous people may have a watch with a damaged dial, just remove that and claim it was always like that.  With this Rotary that is not an issue – the hour markers are printed on the inside of the acrylic glass, and all the bridges are decorated – that decoration wouldn’t happen if the dial was going to cover it up.  The various parts are also made as small and delicately as possible, so for example you can see inside the spring barrel.  The manual wind movement is all working well, and judging by the condition this watch has spent the vast majority of its life in the dealer supplied box (not Rotary, but the same colourscheme.)

This watch will be supplied with the dealer presentation box, stamped papers from the same dealer, and our Certificate of Authenticity.

Please see the HD video for more detail.  All photos and videos are part of the description and are of the actual watch unless mentioned.  We do not photoshop any pictures, and the images are copyright of birthyearwatches.com and should not be used without permission.
