HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in October 1990.
CONDITION
Whilst this watch is complex, it is also quite simple to operate once you know how (and Citizen have the instructions on line here.) Rather cleverly Citizen use some of the hands twice – for example the centre seconds hand also is the chronograph centre seconds, and you flick between the functions using the pusher at 8. We will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner. The plastic pusher at 10 and 2 operate the chronograph start stop reset, and they are still grey and have the textured grip still present – we have seen this model in photos with more faded and worn smooth pushers. The bracelet is deigned with a sliding clasp, so is full length and should fit most wrists. The bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath. Being housed in titanium, this is a light watch but also very hard.
