Swatch are credited by most as saving the Swiss watch industry, and Swatch Group were so successful that they now own brands such as Breguet, Omega, Longines and Tissot among others.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

Swatch release two collections each year, and this watch, model GX404 Moonquake, was from the Autumn/Winter range in 1989.  1989 is also marked on the bottom of the dial.

CONDITION

The watch has been stored from new with the battery removed (to prevent leakage).  The watch would be fitted with a new battery and will be ready to wear, but if you are collecting for investment then we suggest you also remove the battery once the watch arrives.

The copper coloured case is different, but nice, and this model features a large cut out / skeleton arrangement to show the internal workings.  Our warranty would not cover the plastic strap, as these can become brittle over time.

Please see the HD video below for more detail.
