A close to new old stock Tissot with box and papers – still on the original leather strap.  Hard to imagine finding a better one.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the stamped sales paperwork we can accurately date this watch to being sold in July 1988.  While Tissot stopped using serial numbers in 1983, the watch is perfectly correct for the period so we have no doubts the box and papers belong to this watch.

CONDITION

It is difficult to fault the condition of this watch,  The case has light marks from battery changes, but the dial, hands, glass and strap are all as good as you are likely to find.  The case size would have been a men’s size, but now it is considered more unisex.  The two tone dial is very nice, with elegant hands and sub seconds at six.  The movement is an ETA 7 jewel quartz movement which is working perfectly, and we will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner.  The leather strap is lightly used, and still has the Tissot signed buckle fitted.

This watch will be supplied with the original presentation box, papers and our Certificate of Authenticity.

Please see the HD video for more detail.  All photos and videos are part of the description and are of the actual watch unless mentioned.  We do not photoshop any pictures, and the images are copyright of birthyearwatches.com and should not be used without permission.
