HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the supplied paperwork we can accurately date this watch to have been sold on the 10th, September 1988.
CONDITION
This watch has had a very easy life. There isn’t any marks on the solid gold case, the crystal also is perfect, and the original Longines strap and buckle is still fitted. This is a very elegant watch, thin for an automatic winding movement, with simple two hand display and calendar. One of the reasons it is thin is that is contains Longines very own L994.1 movement, which was the thinnest available for many years and is also beautifully finished. The crown is topped with a cabochon stone, which we think is either sapphire or onyx.
