A scarce men’s Alpina watch, in an oval case and jet black dial. Complete with box and dated papers.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the original guarantee booklet we can accurately date this watch to being sold in July 1988.
CONDITION
This minimalist design, with just the company name and Swiss Made on the dial, lends itself to a very classy appearance. The case design is unusual but comfortable on the wrist, helped by having no pointy lugs protruding from the case. The acrylic crystal has been polished to remove and light scratches, and the dial is clean (but difficult to photograph and video because of reflections!). We have priced this watch to be the cheapest Alpina on Chrono24 at time of press, despite having the box and papers.
