This Zenith Mistral, with original paperwork to show it was sold in 1987, is fitted with the original Zenith bracelet.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We can date this to 1987 from the supplied paperwork, and also from the inscription on the watch back for long service.
CONDITION
On the original Zenith bracelet, this is a rare find. As is right for watches from 1987, the case is small by modern standards and very slim. Most of the gold plate on the bracelet is intact, but the clasp is worn. The bezel too is worn, but evenly and now matches the unplated edge of the bracelet. A couple of small marks on the edge of the dial do no detract from the watch too much, and time keeping is accurate. Original screw down Zenith crown. Zenith make some of the nicest watches around and this is only cheap because it is not the current fashion.
