This gold presentation Tissot was obviously saved for best, having been hard earned for 25 years work that was celebrated in 1987.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the supplied paperwork, which matches the description of the watch and the name that is engraved on the watch case, we can show that this watch was sold in November 1987. The inscription on the case back is for 25 years work at Bromford Cold Mill, 1962-1987, which obviously fits nicely too.
CONDITION
This is a very clean watch, with little negative to report. We have polished the case by hand, just to remove some tarnishing. The ETA movement has quick set date, and it is all working well. The size is on the smaller side for some guys, so please check you are comfortable wearing a watch of this size before ordering. Ron Griffin clearly looked after this watch, and we would like the next owner to do the same. We will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner. The leather strap is nearly new, and could be swapped for a different colour or material if preferred. The watch is signed on the dial, case, movement and box.
This watch will be supplied with the original presentation box, papers and our Certificate of Authenticity.
