HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in July 1986.
CONDITION
There were three movements in the 7A series. 7A28 was the first 1/10th second quartz chronograph, the 7A38 added day and date, and 7A48 has a pointer date and moonphase complication. All functions are working perfectly. Both case and bracelet are gold plated, and this has stood up very well, especially on the clasp which is normally the first place to wear. The dial is excellent, and the hands are straight. Quartz is the ideal way to power moonphase watches if they are worn in rotation, as you don’t need to use this website to set it up each time you wear the watch. We will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner. The bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath.
