HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in July 1986.
CONDITION
Titanium is very hard and very light when compared to stainless steel. It is also difficult to work and more expensive, hence it is not used too often in watches. The 7A38 was part of a groundbreaking 7A series of movements, and they were the first quartz watches to have a 1/10th analogue chronograph. They are also all metal movements and fully serviceable, and the collectors love them. We have had many but never had a titanium one before. The case has light marks and a deeper one near 5. Everything is working correctly, and the pushers are not sticky (a common issue). The day and date can be quick set, and the day wheel is in either German or English. We will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner. The bracelet is quite long, possibly full length, and our sister website, SpareLinks.com, may have extra links if required. The centre links do have some wear to them.
