HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in March 1985.
CONDITION
In the mind eighties a gold plated, rectangular case two handed watch was the height of fashion. Not all survive, but this one does and does so well. The dial is very clean, and easy to read. Seiko were one of the pioneers of quartz movements, and this is their calibre 2C20A. It is running and setting perfectly, and we will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner. The bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath, and the clasp can be adjusted simply to ensure it fits the widest range of wrist sizes comfortably. There is small amounts of wear to the gold plating, but with these small watches the photos exaggerate any marks and the video is probably a better representation of the watch.
