A more modern take on the railway pocket watch from Seiko, but a direct development of their earlier models. Model reference 7550-0010.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in June 1984.
CONDITION
Having accuracy for railway watches was always paramount, but with this watch Seiko pushed the limits forward. Accurate to +/- 15 seconds a month, quartz delivered extra safety to the Japanese railway system. The condition of this is good, bordering on very good. The dial is clean, and the paddle hands and Breguet numerals are a direct design from the original 1929 watches (as shown in the video). The bow is the perfect tension, and the cord attached may be original. We will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner.
This watch will be supplied with a basic presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
