The ‘little running man’ is so called as there was a bigger running man model! Both are sought after. Model reference A714-5009
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in January 1984.
CONDITION
There is no reason that the little running man is on this watch to show the chronograph is running, but the fact it is fun to have a little running man just means then why not? You can see a full technical manual for this watch here, but it isn’t tricky to work out. The button at 10 works the light (still working), the button at 8 is to set the time and alarm time. On the right hand side the button at 2 starts and stops the chronograph, the button at 4 resets the chronograph. Everything is working correctly. The hardlex crystal has a few small marks but it is better than most. The bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath. The case is unpolished and mainly good, but does have a ding on one lug. We will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner.
