HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We can date this to being sold in 1983 from the original stamped paperwork, as shown.
CONDITION
Heuer were the world leader in stopwatches for a long time, and developed the first accurate timing system for formula one cars. More about this, and the development of the Microsplit can be found in Jack Heuer’s free downloadable biography available here
This example is rare, given it has the original box and both sets of papers. It is in fully working condition, without any major marks, and the original Heuer neckstrap. It doesn’t look like it has had much use.
