A nice gold plated 1981 Ladies watch on a bracelet from Montine of Switzerland. Manual wind movement, complete with box and papers.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the supplied paperwork we can accurately date this watch to being sold in October 1981 on a British Airways flight from Barbados to London.
CONDITION
The watch is in good condition, setting, winding and running well. The bark effect bracelet is perfect for the period, and shows very little wear. There is a very slight kink in the bracelet that you only really notice when it isn’t on the wrist. The clasp on the bracelet needs no special tools to adjust, so it will always be comfortable. The case back in stainless steel, and houses a 17 jewel movement.
