HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in October 1980.
CONDITION
Seiko launched the first commercially available quartz watch on Christmas Day, 1969. They continued to pioneer the technology, through super accurate twin quartz watches, solar and kinetic powered quartz regulated movements, right through to the Spring Drive Grand Seiko’s that will set you back several thousand pounds. This is a more regular, standard model but it still has a stainless steel case with screw down case back, English and Spanish day wheel that, like the date, can be quickset, and the original bracelet. The bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath. The dial is good and the lumed hands are easy to read against the black dial. We will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner.
This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
