Made just a year after Seiko took over the Pulsar company, this watch was produced – the Y513-6079 Quartz day date.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in June 1980.

CONDITION

Many of these watches are bought for parts only, mainly for the Pulsar Turtle model that uses the same movement, which is a shame.  While this example is far from mint, we have cleaned the bracelet and case, replaced the glass and fitted a new cell.  The case bezel and the bracelet have lost a lot of the plating, and the watch does show wear (or patina/character depending on your language preference!) all over.  You could fit a different strap, but this one is full length and includes the large P pulsar logo clasp.  The day date is quick set, and in English and German.  With the resemblance to the Royal Oak, and a beautiful grey dial that is shown in the video, this watch is worthy to be enjoyed.

This watch will be supplied with our Certificate of Authenticity.
