A manual wind Limit watch, with unusual grey dial and hexagonal stainless steel case, featuring a mechanical movement and complete with the original box and papers.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the supplied paperwork we can accurately date this watch to being sold in September 1980.

CONDITION

The watch is in overall good condition.  The case and integrated bracelet have been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath, and the acrylic crystal polished to remove the deepest scratches.  The grey dial is raised in the centre and lower at the edges, and we are not sure if this is original or slightly bent.  This doesn’t affect the performance of the 17 jewel movement, with centre seconds and calendar functions, which is working well.  The crystal does have a small crack at 10, which isn’t always visible, and the original box is missing the clip for the watch to sit on.  The bracelet requires no special tools to adjust to fit most wrist sizes.
