HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this case to being made in 1979. But the movement has the date code for 1980, so the two could not have been paired until 1980.
CONDITION
While we don’t have the box or papers for this watch, it is clearly unworn (except for our photography). It is completely original and undamaged, and the sticker is still on the case back. The integrated bracelet is full length and has the signed clasp which doesn’t show any swirlies. The movement is a Bulova quartz calibre 2562.10, and we have fitted a correct Renata 381 battery (the modern equivalent of the Bulova 317 cell). The dial is black in most lights, but there is a hint of dark blue in others, and is faultless.
This watch will be supplied with an unbranded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
