This Timex ladies Big Q watch is in good condition and has a slightly unusual way of moving the hands.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We can date this to 1979 from the serial number on the dial.
CONDITION
The dial is great and the case has some wear and tear – that is the easiest way to summerise this. One nice feature is how this quartz watch works. the minute hand doesn’t move gradually, but instead jumps every 60 seconds to the next hour marker. So you don’t get the tick, tick, tick every second, but one big tick once a minute. Quite large for a vintage ladies watch too. A new battery will be fitted prior to sending this out.
